What are the barrettes made of?
Answer: We use various metals including Silver, Copper, Brass and Nickel as well as finishes of Silver and Gold. To ensure a lifetime of beautiful wear, ever piece is sealed to prevent aging and tarnishing. Please see individual item descriptions for item specific material information.
Do you use the "Made in France" barrette clips?
Yes, we use only the "Made in France" barrette clip when crafting our barrettes, which ensures a quality and durable barrette.
How do I know if a barrette is the right size for my hair?
Please see each barrettes item description for sizes and suggestions of what hair types that item is suitable for.
Do you make left-handed barrettes?
Yes, although some designs are fine for either right-handed or left-handed users. If the design should be worn one way for it to be upside right, please email us and we will be happy to make a left-handed version of the design for you at no additional charge.
What do I clean the barrettes with?
You can use a mild soap to clean any hair product or dirt off our barrettes. Rinse and then dry completely using a soft cloth. All of our pieces are sealed to prevent tarnishing and aging, but you can also use a jewelry cloth to shine the barrettes.
What can I use to clean the jewelry?
Our designs are sealed to prevent tarnishing, but we do not seal the earwires. You can clean any tarnish off of the earwires with a jewlery polishing cloth.
Do your earrings contains Nickel?
Our earwires are made of Nickel Free Sterling Silver or are Gold Filled. Please see item description. We seal the ornaments, but these may contain traces of nickel. If you want to be sure the entire earring is Nickel Free, please email the request to us and we will be sure to craft it that way specifically for you.
I lost one of my earrings, Can I buy a replacement?
You can purchase one earring at half the price or we can make the one earring into a pendant and you can purchase a new pair. Please email us if you need either of these special requests.
How are the Barrettes/Pins/accessories assembled or attached?
We solder our designs together. We do not use glue in any of our products. However, when we craft our reading glass holders, we do use a special epoxy to adhere the magnet to the designs. Should the magnet seperate from the design, please return it to us for repair or replacement.
Do you do custom designs?
Yes, we love custom work. Please email your ideas to us and we will let you know what we can offer you.
Can I buy your products in a brick and mortor store?
Yes. Although designs and selection will vary from store to store, you can see a list of stores which carry our work by clicking on the Store locator list here.
Do you wholesale?
